SCN2A Family & Professional Conference

Bringing the SCN2A community together has a life-changing impact on all who attend.

The most exciting and important event of the year is the world’s largest SCN2A-related gathering of families, researchers, clinicians, and industry.

There’s nothing quite like being at the SCN2A Family & Professional Conference and Research Roundtable—surrounded by families who understand this journey, scientists and clinicians working tirelessly toward breakthroughs, and advocates and volunteers determined to make a difference. Everywhere you look, you see people moving mountains together: sharing stories, exchanging knowledge, and building connections that go far beyond the conference walls. It’s a space where hope is renewed, ideas take root, and the strength of our community shines brighter than ever.

Travel scholarships are need-based and available to families with a loved one diagnosed with an SCN2A-related disorder, as confirmed by a genetic report.

Awards of up to $1,200 may help offset eligible conference-related expenses, including registration, hotel, and travel. Because funds are limited and made possible through generous donations, families are encouraged to request only the amount they truly need.

Scholarships are provided as reimbursements after the conference once receipts are submitted.

Applicants will be notified on or before May 30, 2026.

Past Conferences

Since our founding in 2015, we have hosted seven conferences in person or hybrid and two virtually. Travel can be challenging for those with SCN2A-related disorders, so the conference sites rotate around the country. Check out our history of bringing people together.
