BOOK NOWCANCELLATION POLICY: You may cancel your reservation for no charge before 11:59 PM local hotel time 72 Hours before arrival. Please note that the hotel will assess a fee of one night's room and tax if you must cancel after this deadline.
A credit card is required at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation with a deposit of one night's room rate plus tax. A credit card is also required at check-in to cover any remaining room costs. If someone else will be covering your charges, please contact the hotel to arrange a credit card authorization. Additionally, a $60.00 per day hold will be placed for incidental charges, with any unused funds refunded upon check-out.
CHILD POLICY: Children 17 years or younger will stay free of charge in an adult’s room with existing bedding.

The FamilieSCN2A Foundation has a no-solicitation policy covering all of our conferences and expositions. We do not allow solicitation at our events by any attendees or unauthorized parties without prior written permission to the FamilieSCN2A Foundation. This policy includes, but is not limited to the following unauthorized activities:
Prohibited Activities:
- Unauthorized receptions & parties (including off-site events)
- Unauthorized exhibits, mobile exhibits & hospitality suites
- Unauthorized membership recruitment activities
- Unauthorized promotion of non-FamilieSCN2A Foundation events
- Unauthorized research recruiting
- Unwelcome advances toward event participants or the FamilieSCN2A Foundation Board Members
- Unauthorized on-site distribution of printed or electronic materials including literature, signs, flyers, invitations, tickets, forms, etc. (except business cards)
- Any person and/or organization found to be violating this policy may be expelled from the event. No Refunds.
- Egregious and/or multiple violations of this policy may result in disqualification from future events at the discretion of the FamilieSCN2A Foundation.

2025 SCN2A Family Travel Scholarship Application
Deadline: May 1st, 2025
- Please note the following terms before completing this application:
- 1) Scholarships are for families with a loved one diagnosed on a genetic report with SCN2A-related disorders (SRD) and are need based only.
- 2) Our Travel Scholarship Grant provides financial assistance to individuals attending the 2025 Family and Professional Conference. Grants of up to $1,200 are available to help cover expenses such as conference registration, hotel accommodations, and/or travel costs to and from the conference.
As funds are limited, applicants are encouraged to apply for the amount they truly need and to provide receipts for all expenses. Applicants will be reimbursed for eligible expenses at the conclusion of the conference, once receipts are submitted.
When applying, please specify the amount you are requesting (up to $1,200) and provide all relevant documentation to support your application. Financial documents are not required, but you must demonstrate how the funds will be used. Grants will be awarded based on the information provided and the available funds. - 3) Application Status: You will be notified on or before May 30th, 2025.
- 4) If approved, you are responsible for reserving your own accommodation and travel. Reserve your hotel room now.
- 5) Reimbursement will be made by check at the conclusion of the conference after all receipts are submitted. It may take 2-3 weeks to receive payment.
Please note: Accommodation scholarships cover only 'Standard Run of House' rooms. Upgrades or additional nights are at your own expense.

Children are encouraged to attend. This year we will have a SuperSib Camp for siblings over the age of 3. The camp will be staffed and have activities both on-site at the hotel and off-site field-trips. Children with SRD must have a caregiver with them at all times. There will be activities in the hospitality room for children with SRD and their siblings. All children must be accompanied by a caregiver at all times.
The FamilieSCN2A Foundation is dedicated to helping families attend conferences without financial hardship. However, our funds are made possible through generous donations. We encourage you to explore the list of grants that have previously supported families, as they may be a great first step in securing funding.
